We enjoyed a 3-Course Lunch while learning:
An Overview of the Six Tastes.
Learn what they are and why each are important in seasonal eating and how to use them.
Discover how the tastes effect our digestion and why digestion is important.
We will explore why it’s beneficial to reduce raw foods and salads and increase warm, cooked foods.
Learn the Food Rules according to Ayurveda.
Fall Soup: Hearty Spiced Spinach Soup
Main Dish: Lentil Crepes with sautéed seasonal vegetables from the fall garden.
Dessert: Sweet Potato Pudding
Take home the recipes for each course and the therapeutic benefits of spices used.
